Vacation with little ones
Yesterday, our first day at the beach, which in fairness is in the central time zone, we got up, G and Daddy took a walk, we all had breakfast on the patio, cleaned up and went to the beach, played there in the sand and in the water, walked back home, and cleaned up. Pooped, Graham had some milk and laid down for a nap. It was 8:55 AM.

Soccer!
Today was day 1 of the Decatur soccer league. Luke's team is the Jedi Knights, and they look very imposing in their ridiculously big black jerseys. Here are a few photos.

Last Night
Luke and Graham both filled out tournament brackets this year. Graham went the stuffed animal route and ended up with the Georgetown Hoyas, represented by Pluto, the closest thing we had to a bulldog, winning it all. Luke picked by side by side comparison of logos, and being an optimist, he advanced that Duke Blue Devil all the way to the championship, defeating the Tar Heels and their "mouse with the big yellow ears" (aka their ram, who we saw last weekend at the ACC tourney) in the final.
Luke stayed up last night for what turned out to be Duke's final game this year. In the closing moments, as it became apparent that it was not Duke's year, unprompted, he picked up his bracket, and tore it in half. Better luck next year!
